Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - If you purchased a 6/49 ticket for Wednesday night's draw - you could be more than 13 million dollars richer.
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation confirms the winning ticket was sold somewhere in Winnipeg.
WCLC communications manager Kevin Van Egdom says the outlet where the ticket was sold will not yet be revealed.
"We use that information to help verify winning tickets and identify ticket purchasers," said Van Egdom.
The winner or winners of the prize have a year from the draw date to claim the prize.
Wednesday’s jackpot is the biggest lotto win in Manitoba since May of 2013 when a $17 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot was won in Winnipeg.
While Manitoba has yet to record a significant jackpot not being claimed, there have been large amounts in other parts of Canada go unclaimed.
"Usually these big ones do not go unclaimed but the biggest one we've ever seen unclaimed was about 14 million dollars unfortunately that was a ticket sold in Alberta in 2007," Van Egdom said.
The six winning numbers for last night's Lotto 6/49 grand prize of 13,345,152.30 are 4, 13, 22, 25, 29 and 39.
A prize claim can be opened by calling the WCLC at 1-800-665-3313.
