Team Manitoba in a must win situation

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Alberta's Kevin Koe is 5-and-0 at the men's Canadian curling championship heading into his morning-draw matchup against winless Nunavut.

Koe will cap the preliminary round against Nova Scotia in the night draw. 

After falling 9-5 to Brad Jacob's undefeated rink from Northern Ontario, team Manitoba is tied with Team Yukon with a 3 & 3 record.

Mike McEwen's rink find themselves in a must win situation when they take on the 1 & 5 PEI rink this afternoon.

Yukon curls the undefeated Northern Ontario rink this afternoon.

The playoff round begins tomorrow.

The top 4 teams from each pool will advance.
