A 26-year-old man who killed his father in Brandon earlier this year, has been found not criminally responsible.

Judge John Menzies found Dana Allison Craig was suffering from a mental disorder during the time he killed his father in the Motel 6 on April 10th.

His father, Terry Craig, was 63-years-old.

The Craigs hail from New Brunswick, but the son was living in Alberta.

Terry had travelled to Alberta to bring his son home, and he was killed on the trip back to New Brunswick.
