2nd Man Guilty In Onanole Shooting

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - A second man has plead guilty in the shooting of an RCMP officer in Ononole last summer. 

22-year-old Tommy Edward Beaulieu pled guilty on several charges including obbery with violence, aggravated assault, assaulting a peace officer and theft of a firearm. 

Beaulieu and two others were involved in a handful of break and enters near Clear Lake last August, a sequence that ended with an RCMP officer being shot and a lengthy standoff at a home in Neepawa. 

Therae Racette-Beaulieu was sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempted murder, while the two other co-accused will see their day in court in September.
