Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - After neary 1300 shares by followers on social media and numerous radio news reports, the Manitoba RCMP are pleased to report Tiffany Batenchuk is no longer a threat to the general public.

The 28-year-old Batenchuk was a suspect in an armed robbery which occured in Lockport, Manitoba Sunday, March 24th.

During that incident Mounties said when an employee confronted her, she muttered a threat before a fight broke out and then eventually fled the scene.

Following the robbery the RCMP considered her to be dangerous and not to be approached.

However, yesterday afternoon shortly before 4 p.m. Selkirk RCMP reported she turned herself in.

Manitoba RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.
