Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Bobcats women’s volleyball team attempted to come back from 2-0 set deficit but ended up losing 3-1 to the Regina Cougars.
The loss puts the Bobcats record at 3-15, while Regina moves to 10-8.
Brandon fell in the second set 25-23, and then when won the third set 25-22.
Regina beat them 25-18 in the last set, preventing the Bobcats from getting any offence, keeping them at a .028 hitting percentage.
Nikala Majewski had 16 kills and four aces in the loss.
In Brandon, the women’s basketball team had a tough time on the boards, getting out-rebounded and beat by the UBC Thunderbirds.
UBC won 85-56, and beat the Bobcats on the boards 53-21.
Later on in the night, the men’s basketball team lost by 20 to UBC, 94-74.
The Bobcats fall to 2-14 on the year, while UBC improved to 15-1.
