Brandon Police deal with two weapons related incidents on the same day.

In the first incident, BPS officers on patrol downtown observed a man known to the force through a recognizance not to attend the City of Brandon.

During the arrest and search process officers found a large machete concealed in his pant leg.

He was also in possession of a small quantity of meth.

The 35-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today (Wednesday, July 10, 2019).

In a separate incident another weapon was discovered during a search of an individual.
