Motorists are invited to vote on their least favourite road or street

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - CAA Manitoba launches its eighth annual Worst Roads campaign this morning giving Manitoba drivers a chance to vote for the road, highway or street they dislike the most.

Last year over 6,000 votes were cast for nearly 700 roads around the province, demonstrating that while our roads have seen progress in recent years, there’s still much more work to be done.

Seven of the top ten worst roads in 2018 are located in Winnipeg, one in La Salle.

Provincial Road 450 in Boissevain and Provincial Road 353 in Brookdale were the only Westman roads to make the top ten list.
Roads with one or more of the following issues can be voted on:

- Traffic congestion

- Potholes/crumbling pavement

- Timing of traffic lights

- Pedestrian/cycling safety

- Poor road signs or road markings
