Elizabeth May to speak in Brandon on October 6th

Another national leader will be making a stop in the Wheat City.


Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party will be speaking at Brandon University October 9th, from 2:40 until 4:00.                                                       


She will be giving a talk called "Living on this Planet as Though We Intended to Stay: Sustainability in the 21st Century".


There will also be a question and answer session following the speech.


May is the second national party leader to travel to Brandon in a month, the other being Liberal leader Justin Trudeau.


May was the first Green Party representative to be elected as a Member of Parliament in 2011.
