Attendees will bet treated to a film from the fifties and more this Saturday

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) - Brandon's Global Market has a couple of important events coming up.

Along with the usual assortment of fresh produce, local artisan booths and live entertainment this Saturday's market will have a very different look.

Attendees can expect a flashback to the 50's according to Program Manager Erin Coleman.

"We're going to do films from the 50's and we'll also have costumes from the 50's that people can dress up in," said Coleman.

The Market which is usually set up at 12th Street and Rosser Avenue will move to Crowe's General Store on September 29th.

"We wanted to do something special with the market for the season finale so we'll be enjoying the space out by the old General Store," Coleman said.

The Market located runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the end of September.

It's free to enjoy but also has plenty of merchant booths to peruse.
