With the NHL regular season a little over a week away the St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes have struck a deal.
Brandon native, and Stanley Cup Champion Joel Edmundson is headed to Carolina along with prospect Dominik Bokk and a seventh round pick in 2021 in exchange for Justin Faulk and a 2020 fifth round pick.
As part of the deal Faulk signed a seven year, $45.5 million dollar extension, while Joel Edmundson is set to become a UFA at the end of this season.
Last year, Edmundson tallied two goals and nine assists in 64 regular season games. In 22 playoff games last year he collected one goal and six assists to help the Blues capture the cities first ever Stanley Cup.
