Manitoba Federation of Labour Wants Bigger Increase to Minimum Wage

The Manitoba Federation of Labour is pushing for a bigger increase to the minimum wage.

 

The MFL argues the government should look at a living wage, which is 60% of the average wage in the province.                                                     

 

Spokesman John Doyle says it's not just to benefit the teenagers working their first jobs.

If the MFL had their way, minimum wage would be $12.44, the highest in Canada.
