McCreary, MB (CKLQ) - One of Manitoba's sweetest festivals is taking place near the town of McCreary.
Friday April 13 and Saturday April 14 is the McCreary Maple Syrup Festival.
Festival President Pam Little said it's a really family friendly festival.
"Most people tell us it's a real fun day, and they learn a lot. You can go home and tap the maple trees in your yard, as maple trees grow all around Manitoba," said Little.
Saturday's fun starts at 8:00 a.m. with registration and the pancake breakfast.
There will be plenty of activities for people to enjoy throughout the day, including sugar bush tour's, tree tapping demonstrations, a craft sale, live music and plenty of great food.
