The former MP of Brandon-Souris is bothered by the fact there was no nomination meeting for the Conservatives.

Merv Tweed says the nomination meetings are gut-wrenching to be a part of, but it's something that would benefit the riding of Brandon-Souris.

He says the meetings are important to bring everybody together.

This comes after two Conservative candidates had their nominations rejected, leaving Larry Maguire representing the Tories in the upcoming by-election.
