Volunteers needed for 2019 Brier

Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Volunteer applications are now being accepted for the 2019 Tim Hortons Brier in Brandon.
Facilities will need volunteers in a variety of positions that start before the event and carry through to teardown.
Opportunities vary from setting up and taking down equipment to facilitating interview requests for the media.
Volunteers are also required to work both in the stands and behind the scenes at various checkpoints.
Some volunteers will be tasked with transporting VIPs, media members and athletes to and from their destinations around Brandon.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age as of the opening day of the 2019 Brier
The 2019 Tim Hortons Brier will be played March 2-10 at Westoba Place at the Keystone Centre.
