Saskatoon, SK (CKLQ) – The Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League champs fell in two straight games in Saskatoon, losing the West Regional Final.
The Westman Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Saskatoon Stars in Game 2, a day after falling 3-2.
The Stars scored two goals in the second, before adding one more in the third.
With the loss the Wildcats have been eliminated from the hunt for an Esso Cup championship.
Saskatoon meanwhile moves to the Esso Cup later this month in Sudbury, Ontario.
