Oxford University Press has named its word or phrase of the year. Appropriately enough, it is “Rage Bait.”
It’s described as manipulative tactics used to drive engagement online, with usage of it increasing threefold in the last 12 months.
The term beat out aura farming and biohack to win the title. Meanwhile, Collins Dictionary chose its word/phrase of the year…and it’s vibe coding. That is the art of making an app or website by describing it to artificial intelligence rather than by writing programming code manually.
