The RCMP have handed out some tickets to a few people who were disobeying the province's health orders last week.

In The Pas, two women, ages 43 and 25, and a 26-year-old man were each slapped with a $486-dollar ticket for being belligerent towards police and failing to follow the rules. Officers say they received 101 calls last week related to COVID-19, 6 resulted in verbal warnings.

Here in Brandon, provincial fines will continue to be given out for any gatherings of more than 10 people. If it's at a business Manitoba Public Health follows up with the complaints. There have been no fines handed out.
