On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, Brandon police stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of 34th Street at approximately 3:00 am due to inactive licence plates. Police say a 32-year-old woman was arrested for alleged impaired driving. They say she provided breath samples over the legal limit, and was later released to appear in court on October 21, 2021 on charges of Driving While Ability Impaired and Drive with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood.

On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business in the 1500 block of 18th Street North. Police believe suspects cut a hole in the business compound fencing overnight. It is unknown if anything was stolen. On October 12, 2021, police responded to a report of a break-in to a shed at a business in the 2000 block of 26th Street over the weekend. It's believed suspects cut the lock on the shed to gain access and stole two Makita Batteries, a Makita charger, an air compressor, a power adapter, and socket and wrench sets. On October 12, 2021, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a business in the 1600 block of Byng Avenue between October 9 at 7:00 pm and October 12. Police say suspects entered several sea cans and trailers within the business compound and stole an assortment of tools and power tools that has not yet been itemized, but it's believed to be worth over $5,000.  Anyone with information regarding this B&E is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service at 204-729-2345 or https://www.brandon.ca/police-contact/police-contact

On October 12, 2021, police located and arrested a 40-year-old man who was wanted on outstanding charges of Obstruct P.O. and flight from Police. He was later released to appear in court on November 15, 2021.

On October 12, 2021, Brandon police say officers observed an individual 'tagging' an electrical box near the intersection of 17th Street and Victoria Avenue at approximately 1:45 pm. A 22-year-old man was arrested and later released to appear in court on December 16, 2021 on a charge of Mischief to Property.

On October 12, 2021 shortly after 1:00 pm, police located a 34-year-old man who was allegedly in possession of a stolen bicycle in the 3600 block of Centennial Blvd. Officers say he also had some knives, contrary to an order prohibiting him from possessing weapons. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today (Oct 13) on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
