The Cloverleafs doubled the Marlins 8-4 to win the battle of Brandon, and increase their lead atop the Manitoba Senior Baseball League in the process.   Matt Gunning went a perfect 4-for-4, while driving in an RBI, and scoring twice for the 'Leafs who improved their first-place record to 11-2, while the Fish fell to 8-4-1.   Anthony Friesen had nine strikeouts over eight innings of work for the Cloverleafs.      Meanwhile, Duncan Paddock tripled and drove in a pair of runs to lead the Oak River Dodgers to a 4-1 victory against the Reston Rockets.   Ryan Shaw scattered four hits over six innings of work, while Taw Fredrickson picked up the save for the third-place Dodgers, who improved to 5-7, while the fourth-place Rockets slipped to 4-6-1.   Next action in the MSBL is Friday when the Neepawa Farmers host the Marlins and Rockets entertain the Cloverleafs.
