Phase three of their return-to-play-plan kicks in October 1st
It's looking like it'll be okay to play hockey this winter, as Hockey Manitoba has provided details about the third phase of their return-to-play plan.
When it comes to on-ice not much has changed except spitting will not be allowed, if a player is caught it could result in a penalty. While post game teams are encouraged to stand on the blue line and raise their sticks instead of shaking hands.
There are a number of health guidelines that will need to be followed when entering a facility this year as well when it comes to travelling. Teams will be allowed to freely travel inside the province. However, a team looking to play outside the province will be required to fill out a travel permit. When it comes to teams looking to travel to Manitoba to play, those from the east, excluding Northwestern Ontario will have to self-isolate for 14 days.
The third phase is set to kick in October 1st
