There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba, keeping the province's total at 250, and 12 in the Prairie Mountain Health Region.
Health officials say 8 people are currently in the hospital, with 4 in intensive care, the number of deaths remains at 5.
Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. Brent, Roussin says Friday's (Apr 17) numbers continue to show that physical distancing is working as there were more recovered cases than active.
There are currently 113 active cases with 132 people having recovered.
As of Friday (Apr 17) morning, a total of 18.856 tests have been conducted at the Cadham Provincial Lab.
