Traffic stop on Middleton Avenue leads to arrest of an alleged prohibited driver

On January 6, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who set off an alarm at an apartment building in the 1200 block of Rosser Avenue at 2:00 pm. A 29-year-old woman was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 6, 2022, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual who was allegedly causing a disturbance at a business in the 1900 block of Queens Avenue. A 29-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his behavior from continuing.

On January 6, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a travel trailer parked in the 500 block of Park Street. On January 6, 2022, police conducted a vehicle stop in the 1800 block of Middleton Avenue. Police say their investigation revealed the driver was allegedly prohibited. The 35-year-old driver was arrested and later released to appear in court on March 3, 2022 on a charge of Operation of Conveyance While Prohibited.

On January 6, 2022, shortly after 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual on a residential property in the 3500 block of Willowdale Crescent.  Police say a 40-year-old man was in no condition to care for himself and had nowhere to go as he was from a rural community.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 6, 2022, shortly after 8:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated female in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. Officers say a 21-year-old woman was in no condition to care for herself and had nowhere to stay. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On January 6, 2022, police located and arrested a 22-year-old man who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault PO X3 and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court on March 3, 2022.

On January 7, 2022, Brandon police located and arrested a 40-year-old man who was wanted on outstanding charges of Public Mischief, Fail to comply with Probation and Fail to Attend Court.  He was later released to appear in court in March, 2022.
