Brandon’s Remembrance Day service, to honour those who fought for Canada, will be held at the Keystone Centre on Friday, November 11th. Doors will open at 10:00 am and the service is to begin at 10:45 am.
The City of Brandon has also changed its hours of operation for Remembrance Day.
– Brandon City Hall (410 – 9th Street), A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue), Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) and Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Avenue) will be closed.
– Brandon Transit will be running holiday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Transit Information Centre will be closed.
– Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed.
– Brandon’s Youth Centre will be closed.
– Eastview Landfill will be closed. Regular refuse, recycle, and green cart collection that would have been collected on Friday will be collected on Saturday, November 12.
– Brandon Municipal Cemetery is located on 18th Street South and is open to the public seven days a week from dawn to dusk. The Cemetery Office will be closed.

The Brandon Shoppers Mall and most businesses will open at 1:00 pm on Friday. Your best bet is to check with a particular business’ website, or give them a phone call to find their hours of operation on November 11th.
All of Brandon’s Liquor Marts will be open from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friday – except for the Brandon Corral Centre outlet, which closes at 9:00 pm
