Jake Chiasson, Nolan Ritchie and Ridly Greig scored for the Wheat Kings as they picked up their 10th win inside the Hub and moved into sole possession of top spot in the East Division. Ethan Kruger was excellent between the pipes for Brandon, making 31 saves for the win.
WHO TO WATCH
Matthew Ward – The 16-year-old leads the Broncos in scoring with 16 points. Three goals and thirteen assists so far on the season is impressive for any player let alone one in his rookie season in the league.
Michael Farren – The former Saskatoon Blade leads the Broncos in career games played and is hot on Ward’s heels in the team’s points race. Farren, who played for Head Coach Dean Brockman in Saskatoon has 7 goals and 8 assists for 15 points.
