If you haven’t received your Manitoba Public Insurance rebate cheque yet, you should get it in the next few weeks, as the last of them will be mailed out today (June 3).
Back in April, MPI announced it would return $110-million to policy-holders.
Although the average cheque is supposed to be between $140 and $150, many of us are getting a lot less.
The auto insurance corporation says cheque amounts will vary depending on what you paid during the 2019-’20 insurance year.
MPI says the surplus was created in part by a decrease in collisions due to fewer drivers on the road as people worked from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
