As governments begin relaxing COVID-19 restrictions, the majority of Canadians feel the worst of the health risks are over, which includes 58% in Manitoba.
While there’s still some anxiety about the virus, pollster Angus Reid found a big drop in the number of people concerned about friends or family getting the disease – down to 69% from 91% in April – and only 46% of Canadians are concerned about getting the virus themselves, down from 73% in April.
Angus Reid also found 75% of us in Manitoba are no longer staying away from public places as much, and when it comes to getting back to normal, 52% of Manitobans believe it’ll take six months or longer.
