If you have a dog, health officials are warning Canadians to avoid giving them pig ear treats made by Paws Up! and Western Family Brands.
The supplying company, Masters Best Friend, issued a notice of stop sale because the products have been linked to a salmonella outbreak. The company says the brands were sold nationally at Canadian Tire and Save-On-Foods.
As of Tuesday (Sept 30) there have been a total of 8 cases, 5 in BC, 2 in Alberta and 1 in Yukon, as well, health officials are reporting one death.
