Former Wheat King Cole Reinhardt has signed a three-year entry level contract with the Ottawa Senators.
Now in his first full season with the AHL’s Bellville Senators, the Irricanna, AB native is fourth among rookies in scoring with three goals and four assists. He has played in all but one of the Sens 22 games this year.
“We’ve been exceedingly happy with Cole’s play this season,” said Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion. “For someone who was just recently drafted, he’s already showcased a great combination of strength and speed in addition to excellent hockey sense, which is likely his best attribute.”
Reinhardt graduated to the AHL after setting career highs with the Wheat Kings in 2019-20 with 31 goals and 24 assists.
