Manitoba’s top doctor, Brent Roussin, and Health Minister Audrey Gordon are expected to provide an update this afternoon on the province’s public health orders.
A news conference is scheduled for 2:00 pm and will be streamed live at http://news.gov.mb.ca and http://youtube.com/ManitobaGovernment
Earlier this week, the government announced that front-line health and child-care workers, teachers, prison guards and most government employees were to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo frequent testing.
The province also announced it was bringing back mandatory masks in all indoor public places and in schoools – and promised to expand the list of activities and services that only fully vaccinated people can access.
