LAST TIME OUT – 5-4 Win vs Winnipeg
Ben McCartney picked up four assists including an apple on the game winner to lead the way for the Wheat Kings. Braden Schneider (1G-1A) avenged a late penalty to score the game winner just 3:14 into extra time. The win marks a perfect 4-0-0-0 record for the BWK vs their provincial rivals.
WHO TO WATCH
Michael Farren – The elder statesman on the Broncos roster, leads his team in scoring (7G-11A). He also leads the Broncos in shots on goal with 61. As his career winds down, expect Farren to be all gas, no breaks the rest of the way.
Mathew Ward – The sixteen-year-old forward sits second on the Broncos in scoring (4G-14A). He also had a major shootout winner last Saturday vs the Broncos. Ward is a superb talent in his age group and will be a threat for years to come.
