Trent was born in Neepawa, ‘The Land of Plenty’ but lived in Brandon until the age of 18. He moved out and traveled ‘down under’ to the outback land of Australia. During his excursion, Trent picked fruit, worked on a goat farm, and sold sandwiches from a laundry basket.
After experiencing life outside of his native land, he came back to live in Winnipeg for a while, then later moved back to the Wheat City where he’s been for over a decade now. Trent spent his evenings serving at The Keg, where he met his wife. This is also when he discovered that he had a voice for radio, as he was the only one among his colleagues with enough gusto to do a call-in for a weekly STAR FM radio feature. Trent is now the host of the Star FM Morning Mix! He previously took part as the other half of the Q Country Morning's with his partner in crime, Leanne Doty.
Trent is a nerd. He has a basement full of toys, is an avid tabletop role-player, and loves Aquaman. He has a Boston Terrier named Mowgli, and a 3-legged mutt called Stranger.
