Is there such a thing as a "perfect" long weekend? Of course, nothing is perfect, but weather in Westman can be a headache and it can also be heaven. This weekend will be the later. Overnight lows in the double digits so perfect for campfires or tenting, and no storms in the forecast.
Of course, this is bittersweet news for organizers in Dauphin and Minnedosa who had to cancel the Ukrainian festival and Rockn' the Fields this year due to COVID. But the festival has moved online, and you can crank up the oldies on Youtube, complete with old videos to go along with it. A few showers ending late this morning then clearing.
