If you know me, then you know I’m not the sports guy. I’ve never been big on any kind of sport. I’m tall so I played basketball when I was younger but I didn’t watch it. Yesterday though, I’m bummed I didn’t watch football. Because, I think, for the first time, Chicago vs New Orleans aired on the Nickelodeon network. The stands were filled with Nick characters from their shows. The endzones had virtual slime cannons for when teams got touchdowns, and of course, the commentary was dumbed down a bit, so kids could understand what was happening. Honestly, I wish they went harder with making this more appealing for kids. Next time I want a legit slime cannon. You get slimed after a touchdown! You’re at the 20-yard line? Well, that means it’s time for a quick dance break with Spongebob and Patrick. Halftime shows every game, and it’s just Spongebob playing Sweet Victory.
Let’s play wrong answers only. What does football need to make it more interesting?
