I read a story today about how scientists successfully cloned an endangered US species of animal, the black-footed ferrett. (Original story can be found by clicking here.) This got me wondering...what would be the most useful animal(s) to clone right now?
The list of endangered animals seems to grow bigger every day...but if technology keeps advancing in this direction, I think it's only a matter of time until we can get extinct animals back and roaming the earth.
I mean really...who doesn't want to eventually be able to check out the famous "Wolly Mammoths of Manitoba"? I know I do.
