You Be the Judge

So if you ask any baseball fan, chances are they'll agree that the Houston Astros SHOULD have been stripped of their 2017 World Series Champions title. It came to light that they had been cheating for the majority of that season, with video surveillance, signal calling...the list goes on. No-one, however, should be more ticked off than the LA Dodgers, the very team the Astros cheating out of a World Series Victory.

Fast forward to this past Tuesday: MLB is back in action, and LA and Houston are facing off once again. To make a long story short, Dodger relief pitcher Joe Kelly threw some fastballs behind a few of the Astros' hitters, and even went as far as to mock Carlos Correa of Houston after he struck him out...sparking a bench-clearing from both teams. In the end, Kelly was handed a suspension of eight games for his role in the incident. To put this in perspective, if he serves even ONE of those days, he will have been punished more than ANYONE in the Astros' organization for cheating to win during the entirety of 2017.

So what do you think? Was Kelly justified in his actions/did he receive too harsh of a sentence...or was he just being petty, and deserved what he got? You be the judge...but I think you can tell which way I'm leaning on this issue.
