The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has handed out hardware with the Selkirk Steelers winning four of the six year-end awards.
The MVP is Parker Thomas, who leads the MJHL scoring race with 32 goals and 93 points in 53 games.
Braeden Ostepchuk is the top goaltender, Joel Messner was named the best defenceman while Ryan Smith is coach of the year.
Meanwhile, Portage Terriers’ forward Tyler Jeanson was recognized as rookie of the year and the hockey ability award went to Max Flanagan of the Swan Valley Stampeders.
Troy Leslie of the Virden Oil Capitals was named runner-up for coach of the year while netminder Adam Iwan was a finalist for goaltender of the year honours.
