Elkhorn product and Calgary Hitmen defenceman Travis Sanheim is on Hockey Canada’s radar.
Sanheim was among the 22 players selected to attend Canada’s national men’s under-18 training camp in Toronto from April 5th to 8th.
The camp is serving as part of Canada’s preparations for the World Under-18 Men’s Hockey Championship, which will run April 17th to 27th in Finland.
Sanheim was named co-winner of the Hitmen’s rookie of the year award and scored five goals, 29 points while posting a plus-25 rating in 67 regular season games.
