The quest to be crowned Hockey Manitoba Senior ‘A’ champions will begin this weekend.
The Miniota-Elkhorn C’Hawks and Deloraine Royals are in the same pool and meet each other on Friday night in Rivers at 8:30 p.m. to open the round-robin.
Deloraine and Miniota-Elkhorn are joined by the Altona Maroons in their group with the top two teams advancing to the semifinals.
The Royals face Altona in Killarney on Sunday at 6 p.m. while the C’Hawks go up against the Maroons to close out pool play on April 17th in Winnipeg.
The championship game goes April 19th at the MTS Iceplex.

Miniota-Elkhorn finished the regular season atop the North Central Hockey League at 17-1-2 and captured their second straight title while Deloraine was first in the Tiger Hills Hockey League at 22-3 and won their first championship since 1983.
