The Kings have a 2-1 win over the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots and a 4-3 overtime victory over the Carleton Place Canadians, with Killarney’s Jesse Bernard and Souris’ Tanner Butler among the tournament leaders in scoring with three points each.
Meanwhile, Medora’s Trent Cassan and his Yorkton Terriers saw their record slip to 0-2 on Monday night.
Coach Cassan and the Terriers gave up three straight second period goals 41 seconds apart to fall 6-4 against the Vipers.
Russell’s Derek Falloon continues to be sidelined with a concussion for Yorkton.
