One more victory apiece and it will be mission accomplished for Canada’s national volleyball teams at the world qualifiers in Mississauga.
Rivers product Toon Van Lankvelt recorded a match-high 11 kills as the men’s team earned a straight sets win over Costa Rica.
Set scores were 25-14, 25-16 and 25-12.
On the women’s side, Dauphin’s Tabi Love chipped in with four kills as the Canadians defeated the US Virgin Islands in a sweep.
Set scores were 25-12, 25-9 and 25-11.
Both Canadian squads are 3-0 and play in Monday’s gold medal matches with spots in the 2014 world championships at stake.
