Wedges or shoe string? Deep fried or oven baked. With ketchup or with majo or maybe another dipper? French fries is a food we can all ge behind, and when you can get french fries for free, while supporting a good cause, AND Westman potato producers and manufacturers, its a WIN and WIN and WIN! McCain Foods, Smart Electric, Mid-Plains Implements along with the Carberry Potato Truck Pull, have teamed together to host Free Fry Day in support of the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 5-6:30pm at the Carberry Fairgrounds, Friday June 19th.
All you need to to do to get your free fries is to stop by one of the locations listed below during the designated distribution time. Each vehicle will receive two bags of McCain Foods frozen potato products through curb-side contactless pickup. Help the Carberry Potato Truck Pull reach their goal to “Fill the Potato Truck” with donations for the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation. Because of COVID-19, the Carberry Potato Truck Pull had to make the difficult decision to cancel this year’s annual charity event, an event that was one of the largest fundraising events in Manitoba for Pediatric & Adult Cancer Research at CancerCare Manitoba. Instead, they are challenging businesses, friends and neighbours to do what they can while enjoying the fruit of Westman potato famers’ labour. So let’s get some fires and support a great cause today!
