I am happy to say that in my 29 years I have not been seriously injured by an animal. I have been near some animals that have been known to be dangerous. I was a few feet away from some bears years ago, but have never had any issues. When this video went viral of a bobcat attacking a woman in broad daylight in a suburban neighbourhood I was shocked! Bobcats are known to be nocturnal and shy creatures. Luckily, The woman’s husband stepped right in and tossed the bobcat away from them and later shot the bobcat when it turned back and charged at him again. It was later revealed that the bobcat died and had tested positive for rabies. The husband and wife were treated and reported to be doing ok. In Westman, we have tons of different wildlife. If you travel through Riding Mountain National Park you may see deer, moose, and bear just to name a few. Have you ever been close to an animal that can be considered dangerous?
