On February 15th, 2023, Brandon police attended to a residence on Alaska Bay for a female that was causing a disturbance. Officers say a check of police records showed an outstanding warrant of arrest. A 35 year old woman was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court February 16th, 2023.

On February 1st, 2023, police received a report regarding a female who was invited to a residence and then allegedly proceeded to steal the home owner’s wallet contain personal identification and financial cards. Police say the suspect was captured on video surveillance using the victim’s bank card at a local business. On February 15th, 2023 a 34 year old woman was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court March 23, 2023 for the charges of Theft Under $5000 and Fraud Use Debit Card.

On February 15th, 2023, Brandon police received a report regarding a male in the 700 block of Lorne Avenue. Investigation determined that on the night prior, a male known to a female victim had attended a residence and reportedly proceeded to assault her by pushing and punching her. The suspect then allegedly stole the victim’s phone and left on foot. On February 15th, 2023 the 35 year old man was located, arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court February 16th, 2023 for the charges of Domestic Assault and Theft Under $5000.

On February 15th, 2023, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of Percy Street. They say an intoxicated 23 year old man was the cause of the altercation and was subsequently lodged at BPS until sober to prevent any further problems.

On February 15th, 2023, Brandon police attended to a business in the 600 block of 18th Street for an unwanted male. Officers say the subject was found to be in possession of a bicycle which was connected to a B&E to a business which occurred on November 29th, 2022. A 33 year old man was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court April 6th, 2023 for the charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

On February 15th, 2023, police attended to a business in the 100 block of Victoria Avenue E after receiving a complaint of an unwanted female. A check of police records showed that the suspect is on conditions not to attend the business as she is pending a previous criminal charge at the same location. A 26 year old woman was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court April 20th, 2023 for the charge of Breach of Undertaking.

On February 15th, 2023, Brandon police conducted a pedestrian stop with a known male in the 600 block of Princess Avenue. A check of police records confirmed an outstanding warrant. A 44 year old man was arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court February 16th, 2023.

On February 15th, 2023, police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle near Highway 1 and 110. Officers report the female operator was displaying symptoms of consumption of a drug and subsequent tests verified her impairment. In addition the suspect was found to be in possession of Crystal Meth and MDMA. A 32 year old woman was arrested and lodged at BPS. She will be released once sober with conditions to appear in court March 9th, 2023 for the charges of Drive While Impaired by Drug, Possession of Crystal Meth and Possession of MDMA.

On February 16th, 2023, Brandon police responded to a disturbance at a residence on Garwood Drive. They say an intoxicated 40 year old woman was the cause of the altercation, and was subsequently lodged at BPS until sober to prevent any further problems.
