On August 10, 2023, at approximately 5:30 am, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Hawthorn Crescent. A resident awoke to seeing an individual wearing a ski mask in the home. The suspect fled after being discovered. Police Service Dog Unit attempted to track the suspect with negative results. It is not believed anything was stolen, and that the suspect gained entry through an unlocked door. On August 9, 2023, police received a report of a stolen vehicle. The 2012 grey Dodge journey was stolen from the 300 block of 21st street and may have been taken around July 20, 2023. The vehicle has Manitoba license HSC277.
On August 9, 2023, police also responded to a report of the theft of a 2008 blue dodge Grand Caravan from the 800 block of Assiniboine Ave between August 4 and August 9, 2023. The vehicle has Manitoba license LCZ989.

On August 9, 2023, a 31-year-old female who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court attended Brandon Police Service. She was released to appear in court in September 2023.
On August 9, 2023, shortly after 5:00 pm police located and arrested a 37-year-old male pedestrian in the 300 block of 10th street who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.
On August 9, 2023, shortly after 8:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 1st street. One of the occupants of the vehicle was found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On August 10, 2023 shortly after 1:00 am, Brandon police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence. Investigation revealed that a 15-year-old female was allegedly the cause of the issues, and she was to abide by a condition not to communicate with one of the other individuals at the home. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be later released in to appear in court on August 26, 2023 on a charge of Fail to comply with Probation.

On August 10, 2023 shortly after 1:00 am, police came across a 29-year-old male pedestrian in the 000 block of Lorne Ave E. The male was to abide by a daily curfew, and was arrested. He was later released and will appear in court on September 14, 2023 on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
