On August 14, 2023, police received a report of a male communicating via text with an individual with whom he was to have no contact. He then allegedly attended to their residence and stole their security camera. On August 15, 2023, police located and arrested the 32-year-old male and lodged him at Brandon Police Service. He will appear in court this morning on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Theft Under $5000.

On August 15, 2023 shortly before 4:00 pm, Brandon police were flagged down by an individual near the 900 block of 18th Street N. Police say they told officers their bicycle had just been stolen. Police say they located a suspect several minutes later at 10th and Victoria with the stolen bike. The 33-year-old male was arrested and later released to appear in court on October 10, 2023 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

On August 15, 2023 shortly before 5:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male behaving in a threatening manner towards employees at a business in the 300 block of 10th Street. The male allegedly threw garbage around onto a neighboring property. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent his actions from continuing.
