On August 15, 2023, shortly after 3:00 pm, Brandon police received a report of a youth being assaulted by two other youth in the area of the 700 block of 18th Street. The victim did not require medical attention, and the two suspects left the area. On August 17, 2023, police located and arrested one of the suspects, a 15-year-old female. She was later released to her parent and will appear in court on November 17, 2023 on a charge of Assault.

On July 5, 2023, police received a report of a suspect spray-painting a lamppost in the 400 block of 9th Street. Security footage assisted police in identifying the accused. A 32-year-old male was arrested on August 17, 2023 and later released to appear in court on October 12, 2023 on a charge of Mischief Under $5000.

On August 18, 2023 at approximately 12:30 am, Brandon police came across a male pedestrian in the 1100 block of Victoria Avenue. Police say the male initially provided a false name, to avoid being arrested on outstanding warrant charges of Robbery. Once the identity of the 34-year-old male was confirmed, he was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 11, 2023 on charges of Public Mischief and Robbery.
