Royal Le Page’s Munn Group has announced on social media that Brandon’s former Central Fire Station 1 on Princess Avenue downtown has sold.
The building, erected in 1911, was recently being used as an event venue and was listed for $1.35-million. No selling price was revealed.
The social media post went on say “This magnificent Chateauesque-style property, steeped in history, will now be under new ownership and poised for an exciting transformation. With its striking Italianate tower, red brick façade, and elegant wrought iron balconies…this designated heritage site is set to be a vibrant event venue, brimming with fresh ideas and energy. Here’s to the past owners, the new owners and the unforgettable memories they’ll create for Westman in this truly special space.”
The post then added a link to the venue’s website The Firehall – Event Venue in Brandon (thefirehallvenue.ca)
