-The Brandon Wheat Kings host Games 3 and 4 – Wednesday and Thursday at Westoba Place – as their first round playoff series continues against Moose Jaw. The Warriors lead the series 2-0.
-The Winnipeg Jets are back in action Thursday when they entertain the Calgary Flames. The Jets beat the Kings 4-3 yesterday snapping a 6-game losing streak.
-Canada is now 4-and-1 at the world men’s curling championship after beating New Zealand 7-4 this morning. They’re tied for second with Italy and Scotland. This afternoon, Brad Gushue’s rink takes on the 3-and-2 Amercians.
-and the Toronto Blue Jays were shutout 10-0 by the Houston Astros on Monday. The series continues today. The Jays play their home opener April 8th against the Seattle Mariners.
