Breach of Peace
On June 16th at 7:39pm, Brandon police were called to a disturbance in the 400 block of 12th Street. Officers say a 51 year old intoxicated male was arrested, and will be released once sober.
Break & Entry / Theft
On June 16th at 11:05pm, police were called to a residence in the 400 block of 7th Street. Police say the homeowner heard a loud noise and upon investigation found an unknown male on her couch. The homeowner left the house and called police. Video surveillance shows the backside of the male exciting the back door carrying her purse. Search of the area met with negative results. Police continue to investigate. Description: Male, T-shirt, jeans, black shoes, wearing a ball cap. Assault With a Weapon
On June 16th at 11:21pm, Brandon police received a call from Brandon Hospital. A male had reportedly been stabbed in the neck with a pencil. Police arrested a 41 year old female in the 100 block of 10th Street. She will later be released once sober with a court date of July 15, 2024.
Mischief Under $5000
On June 17th at 3:27am, police received a call from a residence on Knowlton Drive that something had been thrown through a front window. Police say the suspect reportedly took off on an electric bike. A 20 year old male was located, and officers say his helmet was allegedly used to smash the window. He was arrested and will be released once sober. Court date of August 26th, 2024.
Mischief
On June 16th at 11:00am, Brandon police were called to the 1300 block of 22nd Street where an unknown male was reportedly sleeping in the caller’s vehicle. Police arrested a male who was lodged at Brandon Police Station. He will later be released with a court date of July 29th, 2024.
Damage/Mischief
On June 16th at 12:30pm, police were called to a business in the 500 block of 8th Street. A window had been broken overnight. Police continue to investigate.
Arrest Warrant
On June 16th at 12:30pm, police conducted a persons check in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. A 24 year old female was and arrested. Police say the suspect had an outstanding warrant of failure to attend court. She was later released via appearance notice with a court date of August 1st, 2024.
